With all the talk about Ammo and guns, Marlin, etc., I thought I would share some info that I have come across in my research. Everyone has their own opinion, but what I do know is both the NRA, the NSSF and even Glenn Beck who is no lover of Soros say that Soros owns none of the ammo or gun manufacturing in America. There are rumors a plenty that George Soros is behind the Freedom Group and is trying to dismantle the 2nd Amendment are apparently quite false. It’s not Soros behind the group, it’s actually Cerberus, a major company which is run by CEO Stephen Feinberg. According to the Times, Feinberg’s empire is vast on its own account, as his conglomerate rivals: “some of the mightiest public companies in the land. Cerberus manages more than $20 billion in capital. Together, the companies it owns generate annual revenue of about $40 billion — more than either Amazon or Coca-Cola last year." The NRA goes on to say: In reality, at no time has George Soros ever been a part of the ownership group of Freedom Group or Cerberus, and as a privately traded corporation, there is no possibility that he will be in the future. This unsubstantiated rumor has caused a great deal of unnecessary concern for gun owners. NRA-ILA urges our members to take great care before repeating baseless rumors found on the Internet.

What we should be concerned with is a top Obama liberal buying up all the conservative pro 2nd Amendment media outlets such as Guns & Ammo magazine, the Sportsman Channel and other things in an effort to strip it down, destroy it, and silence the media voice of the 2nd Amendment.

The Truth about ammo
As attacks on our Second Amendment rights increase, there is a predictable uptick in the number of internet rumors concerning firearms and ammunition.

The latest rumor is actually a variation of an old one, and claims that George Soros owns "most of the ammunition manufacturing companies and many arms manufacturers," and that he's "selling ONLY to the government right now."

This simply isn't true. Current ammunition shortages are driven by consumer demand, which has spiked due to the ongoing attacks on gun owners’ rights. To read a statement by the National Shooting Sports Foundation refuting this latest rumor,
