Before the News of Import for 3/25/2013, let’s talk about history and education. In AZ we have La Raza which our anti-colonialist Marxist in chief, Barack Obama supports, and they taught Azlan in Tucson schools until they were stopped by the state government. There are still ongoing lawsuits even after La Raza lost in state Supreme Court, as the lawfare is now going the Federal route with DOJ support. I have below included a link and info about Azlan to which you can Google search the revisionist progressive history propaganda if you so desire. The real history is this. With the Mexican American War, it begins on April 25, 1846. Mexican cavalry attacked a group of U.S. soldiers in disputed land under the command of General Zachary Taylor, killing about a dozen. The Mexican forces then laid siege to an American fort along the Rio Grande. Taylor called in reinforcements, and with the help of superior rifles and artillery, was able to defeat the Mexicans at the battles of Palo Alto and Resaca de la Palma. The fighting was followed by a series of U.S. victories along with U.S. troops led by Gen. Winfield Scott, which landed in Veracruz and took over the city. US forces then began marching toward Mexico City, essentially following the same route that Hernán Cortés followed when he invaded the Aztec empire. The Mexicans resisted at Cerro Gordo and elsewhere, but were bested each time. In September 1847, Scott successfully laid siege to Mexico City’s Chapultepec Castle and won. When the dust cleared, Mexico had lost about one-third of its territory including its capital. Nearly all of present-day California, Utah, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico were lost in the fighting. On February 2, 1848, The Treaty of Guadeloupe Hidalgo was signed, later to be ratified by both the U.S. and Mexican congresses. The treaty called for the annexation of the northern portions of Mexico to the United States. In return, the U.S. agreed to pay $15 million to Mexico. Many in Mexico as well as La Raza and other groups believe that America stole the land, which is definitely not the case. The treaty agreed to by both countries gave California, Utah, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico to the US. Texas then joined the union.

Why is this important? In order to preserve one’s freedom you first have to know your history and be informed. Is there any wonder why over the years history/social studies has been dropped, and anti-American curriculum has been adopted? Chairman Mao said the greatest threat to change is the intellectual. From Mao Zedong who murdered 65 million people to Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot and so many others, intellectuals, educators, the educated and clergy were the first to be killed so that change could be brought about. It is not enough to simply kill people, you have to reeducate them. It is this reeducation that causes me such great concern with "Common Core", as it replaces nationalism, patriotism and self-reliance, along with the free market with collectivism, the group is more important than the individual, and borderless existence. In Common Core or Cscope, it is teaches that capitalism, the free market, is a stepping stone for socialism then eventually communism, which is the goal. There are no nations, you are not an American you are a member of the world group. In one lesson Paul Revere was described as a drug smuggler and pimp who was riding his horse to save his drug stash, not just to warn the Colonist that the British were coming. Revere fought the British to save his sex trade and drug business, not because he wanted to save the colonies and gain independence.

To summarize, be informed, do not panic, and be prepared, while trusting in God.

Let us ponder what the father of our Constitution said and then I would like to discuss two segments of thought before this News of Import, Radicalism and our Rights of which I have often spoken of our 2nd Amendment rights.

Radicalism comes in many forms, one reason there is such a huge illegal alien problem is that Democrats/ Liberals and especially progressives like illegals as they are a voting machine in their progressive agenda to make America in their image, not how the founding fathers who they abhor intended America to be. Radical Islam is another example I will use to which I have shared many stories and links about Islam in the past. In general radicalism be it from Progressives (Communist) or Racists is bad, the AFL-CIO and the SEIU have been very open about their Communist beliefs and leanings. I have shared how the NRA was founded for several reasons, one being to defend freed blacks after the Civil War due to the fact that the KKK was founded by Confederate Generals after the war and Black Codes were created to keep Blacks from owning firearms or defending themselves. Both ideologies of totalitarianism and freedom have been around for thousands of years but only in America have people tasted true freedom. It is this freedom that is worth fighting for, something that a miniscule fraction of humanity has ever tasted.

Last January, an assassination plot against a Christian pastor in Turkey was thwarted. Police arrested 14 suspects. Two of them had been part of the pastor's congregation for more than a year, feigning interest in Christianity. One went so far as to participate in a baptism. Three of the suspects were women. "These people had infiltrated our church and collected information about me, my family and the church and were preparing an attack against us," said the pastor in question, Emre Karaali, a native Turk: "Two of them attended our church for over a year and they were like family."

Their subversive tactics worked: "The 14 [suspects] had collected personal information, copies of personal documents, created maps of the church and the pastor's home, and had photos of those who had come to Izmit [church] to preach."

Consider the great lengths these Islamic supremacists went to in order to murder this Christian pastor: wholesale deception, attending non-Islamic places of worship and rites to the point that "they were like family" to the Christian they sought to betray and kill. While some may think such acts are indicative of un-Islamic behavior, they are, in fact, doctrinally permissible and historically demonstrative.
